Add a Shield RMS (or RMSc) Optic Cut as a standalone upgrade to your S&W M&P Shield9 or M&P Shield40.
This Optic Cut allows you to mount a Shield RMS/RMSc sight directly to your slide with two included #6-32 screws.
The cut features a precision CNC machined pocket directly in front of the S&W M&P factory rear sight dovetail. By design, the RMS will fit tight within this pocket, preventing the sight from moving in any direction, ensuring your optic remains zeroed in even under the harshest conditions.
This product includes the Optic Cut only.

M&P Shield 45 Optic Cut & Refinish
The optic cut for the Shield RMSc optic was perfect. The posts and screw holes lined up perfectly, and even before I installed the screws there was no movement of the sight. The black nitride refinish was flawless. The slide looks awesome. I took the gun to the range to sight in the optic and it all works great! I will recommend Maple Leaf to anyone looking to have an optic installed on their gun.

Particularly like that mounting guides were included in the cut. Other shops do not provide these and only provide a flat cut.

I would have reserved my review for this until my optic came in, but I also had a sig p365 cut for an optic by Maple Leaf and I'm fully satisfied with their craftsmanship that I am 100% confident when my optic does come in I won't have any issues. I've already put a few hundred rounds through the sig and have had no issues with the optic at all. It is performing very well.
Maple Leaf takes the effort out of shipping with their valet slide service package. I was a little skeptical at first about them not needing my optic to make the cut on the slide, but when the sig came back it fit perfectly.
They were very responsive to any questions I had about status updates and the turnaround time for both firearms was right around a month.
Overall I was very pleased with their service and work and I would highly recommend them. If I have any slides in the future I want to cut for an optic, I will be coming back. -

Overall it was a great experience. Before purchasing or sending in my slide I had exchanged a couple emails. The questions were answered Professionally and in a timely manner.
