This refinishing treatment is truly unique!
After machining, your slide will first be sent off for Black Nitride treatment. Once it returns from nitride treatment, we will further process it in our state of the art tumbler to give it a unique wear pattern. Even though the surface finish will appear distressed, all the corrosion protection benefits of nitride treatment will be retained!
This treatment restores your slide to factory surface specifications after milling. The durability and corrosion protection offered by nitride treatment is unmatched by any other treatment available.
This service includes the installation of a new Glock OEM channel liner.
Please note: Due to the unique nature of this type of treatment process, slides are sent off to a shop that specializes in this type of refinishing. As such, we are unable to guarantee specific turnaround or lead times for this service, although in our experience the vendor we use has been very good with their quoted times.
Accordingly, please allow approximately two weeks of additional lead time for your order when purchasing this service.

Out of the box it looks great. After over 1,000 holster draws, it shows no sign of wear.

Slide finish
Other than the small imperfection on the top of the slide it is really nice. The customer service representative was really good and offered to cerakote it. Overall a good first time experience with Maple Leaf. I'll be using them again.

Stonewash Nitride
I decided to try the stonewash nitride finish on my SW shield plus performance center slide. Wasn’t certain that I would like it, however when I received my slide back from Maple Leaf, I really liked it. The nitride finish is nice and smooth and was not overdone with the weathered and worn look. This finish should protect my slide and looks great on my pistol!

Very Minimalistic
I was hoping this coating would be a little more noticeable. Instead it looks mostly black until you get really close to it. Still a strong and well done coating.
